Inside this little mandala
The turtle is seen from above, with a large shell divided into polygon shapes. Its four flippers have smaller patterned sections. Repeating wave curves surround the turtle, and triangles and diamonds complete the outer edge.
A coloring idea to try
Choose two greens for alternating shell sections and two blues for the waves. Or create a fantasy turtle with a different color in each shell shape.
Make a little moment of it
Start with the shell and leave the smaller flipper spaces for last. A sharper coloring pencil can help there, while crayons work well in the broad surrounding shapes.
Use pencils or crayons for the smaller sections. Print on paper suited to your materials, and put a protective sheet underneath if using markers. Downloads are free for home and classroom use; please link to this page when sharing the design online.
